[The Renals of Cornwall]

[Narrative paragraphs about the person's life, their place in the family story, connections to locations and other family members. Write in your own voice — this is your family's history.] I have the photograph of Roy and Sheila standing in the doorway of St Conan's Church, Washaway, Cornwall, for those that don't know it, this is a small church in the countryside almost mid-way between Wadebridge and Bodmin in Cornwall. It is September 1955. Dad, nineteen years young, is dressed in a suit and has his hair styled. He retained beautiful curly hair throughout his life. Mum is wearing a beautiful white wedding dress, she is eighteen. Radiant beauty. Teen age marriage. Will it last? They made it through as a married and devoted couple until mum passed in 2023.
